On day 5, we went back to Magic Kingdom for the whole day. We had breakfast reservations at 1500 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian, and besides the breakfast at Hollywood & Vine, this was the best one! They had a strawberry soup that was out of this world!
I was so excited to meet Mary Poppins since we didn't get to meet her in Epcot, and every time we saw Alice, it was in passing. Austin was glad that they got to "sign in." (She called getting autographs signing in. HA!!)
We went over to Magic Kingdom by monorail, and walked around a little before our first FastPass, which was Enchanted Tales with Belle.
I had heard wonderful things about ETWB, and it really is wonderful, for boys and girls! Ben and I loved watching it, too!
We met Gaston, and he was quite comical. He had Austin pretending to stir something. :)
We sorta lost track of time, and then realized that it was time for our lunch reservations at Be Our Guest. Mom and I were most excited about this lunch. I don't think the guys cared about it, and the kids hardly ate anything but french fries, but we loved it! :)
I loved everything being decorated for Christmas!!
Be Our Guest was the hardest thing of the trip to reserve. I had to try for weeks to get a reservation! We even preordered our food so that we wouldn't have to wait as long, which turned out to be the best way. It was worth it to me, though. Definitely worth the trouble. If you can miraculously book a dinner reservation, Beast is there. It was fun walking around the castle and seeing the 3 different areas! Here are the kids in the West Wing with the magical rose.
Not long after that, Gammy and Pepaw took Bennett back to the room to take a nap. Bless his heart, he was so tired! And then about that time it started to rain, so we ran inside to ride the Ariel ride. We had an extra FP to use because Ben ran into a cast member that was a bulldog fan, and was from the same town as us, so he gave us some extra FastPasses! It pays to wear a MSU hat, I guess. :) After that, we used our 2nd regular FP for the day for Ariel's grotto. I knew we wouldn't have a Princess character meal this day, so I wanted to fit in as much Princess stuff as possible for Austin, since it was our last day. It was nice too that Bennett wasn't with us, because we had to wait quite a while to meet Ariel, even with the FP.
When we got out of there, we went straight to use our last FP at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. By FAR the best ride at MK.
Austin was a little freaked out when we got done, but after a couple of minutes, she talked nonstop about it. She loved it, and then was begging to ride Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. I talked to several people while waiting in lines, and they all advised us to not let her ride TMR this trip. They thought she would be too scared if SDMT scared her at all. We rode a few more things... Dumbo, of course...
Fairy Godmother was probably the only autograph that we didn't get.
Fun with Daddy... :)
It rained on us off and on all day. We got a really good spot in Frontierland for the parade, and Daddy went and brought us Dole Whips. My love language!!
Austin had her name monogramed on her shirt (of course, we are from MS), and Snow White walked right up to her in the Parade and said, "Hi, Austin!!" It totally made her day, and was one of the sweetest moments! Also, photographers, and other people would call them by name, which was really fun for them!
One of my favorite sights. I LOVED Main Street!! Especially decorated for Christmas!
We had SUCH a great trip!!! We had dinner reservations at Ohana that night, so the rest of the gang met back up with us. It was the boys' favorite meal of the week! Then we did a little shopping. :)
