twenty one months

  • you weigh 22 lbs.
  • you are 33 inches tall.
  • you are in a size 3 diaper.
  • you wear mostly 18 month clothes.  you have a wide range from 12 month pants/shorts, to 2.  your new pajamas are all 18-24 month.
  • you wear a size 5 shoe.
  • you are so busy all of the time!!  you sometimes just run around the house in circles making noises.
  • you seem to be tidy and organized.  i hope this sticks with you!  the other day i saw you pick up something from the floor, and run to the trash can and throw it away without being asked.  you always want your things to go where you know they're supposed to go.
  • you have fallen so much lately that i feel so bad for you.  you are always getting a new "bo-bo."  your pain tolerance is very high.  we discovered that the other night when daddy got a splinter out of your foot.
  • you started going to "school," mother's morning out, and you love it!
  • your favorite meal seems to be spaghetti.  you eat every bite and ask for more.
  • you have had a hard time adjusting to 1 nap a day, but i think we are almost there.  i try to keep you up during the mornings, and then let you take a really good afternoon nap.
  • your favorite movie is still alice in wonderland.
  • you love raisins and craisins!
  • you constantly ask for cookies and crackers.
  • you have started sitting at the table like a big girl.  you have to sit on your step stool, or my largest pot.
  • you are such a mama's girl.
  • you still aren't talking a whole lot, but you say new words every day. you will randomly say a word that i had no idea you knew.
  • you started getting put in the corner for time-out when you're bad. so far, it works well.
  • you are infatuated with my closet.  if ever i can't find you, you will be in there just sitting with your snack, or trying on my shoes.  sometimes you like to hide behind my clothes.
  • you love to eat chapstick.  it's so gross.
  • you started eating real cereal... like in a bowl with milk.  you loooooove it, and always want 2 bowls full.
