attempting to catch up

hey y'all... our house has been kinda quiet the past few days.  nothing exciting.  peanut has been so clingy this week.  she has been attached to my hip everywhere we've went.  even in the grocery store i had to carry her around and push my buggy.  which by the way was not easy, because i picked a buggy that pulled to my left.  i managed to get her to sit for a few minutes seconds to give my arm a rest.
she hasn't even wanted to sit in her high chair for meals.  she cries big ole crocodile tears when i sit her down in it.  of course, then she's all worked up and upset, so she won't eat well.  maybe that's coming to an end, because she did sit in it today and ate pretty good both times.  here she was with cereal everywhere...
last night i heard a noise coming from peanut's room.  it sounded like snoring, but i wasn't sure.  i walked in to find this...
apparently daddy was having trouble getting her back to sleep, and fell asleep himself.  ha!  =)  gotta love him for trying.

this was us last weekend waiting on the storms to pass.  unfortunately, looks like we will be getting a lot more rain this weekend!  hopefully it won't get as bad.
we have been practicing our reading...
we're in a new pajama size now.  she can still fit into her old ones, but i think these must be more comfortable for her.
i love this photo of her and sydney.  it's like sydney is saying, "don't you come over here!"
and here's peanut sporting the cutest bath robe and slippers...
i have been having the hardest time lately with my sleeping!  my daughter doesn't really help with that, but you know... you gotta do what you gotta do!  =)

Oh my, I've missed a bunch here again, haven't I? Sorry things have been tough with Austin lately. I smiled when I read how you called the shopping cart a buggy. My friend Kristin also calls them buggies too (we call them carts here in CA) and she lives in TX. Must be a southern thing, huh? :) Love all the pics and LOL about your Hubby falling asleep on the floor. Looks like something I would have done in the past too!
