seven months

  • you weigh 15.6 lbs.
  • you are 26 inches long.
  • you are in a size 2 diaper.
  • you can still wear some 3-6 mo. clothes, and 6-9 mo.  (your easter dress was a 9 mo. because i want you to be able to wear it through the summer, and it fit you just fine!)  your monogrammed onesies are 12 mo.  you're getting so long, it's hard to keep them fitting you!
  • you wear size 1 shoe, and you're about to move to a 2 in sandals.
  • you eat in your high chair like a big girl now.
  • you are eating stage 1 and stage 2 foods, along with a little bit of juice.  (probably not even enough juice to count, but we're practicing!)  you eat cereal twice a day.
  • you're a great eater!  the only thing you did not like was broccoli and chicken, and the individual meats... turkey, beef, and chicken.  maybe it was the brand, because those were a different brand than you usually eat.  i didn't blame you... they stunk sooooooo bad!
  • you have finally figured out the sippy cup (since i changed brands), but you still like to bite on it a lot.  i think it must feel good to your gums.
  • you finally got over being sick!  we had a rough patch there for a little bit, but you are back to your happy self.
  • you have the scooting thing down pat now.  i expect you to take off crawling any day now.  you will scoot across the floor to me, and look up and smile.  it's so sweet!
  • you love to "talk."  you say dada a lot, and i have to remind daddy that you don't realize what you're saying!  =)
  • you have figured out how to get out of your bouncy seat.  i was getting ready in the bathroom and looked down and you were on the floor on your hands and knees.
  • you nurse every 3 hours during the day.  sometimes a little more often because you're too full of baby food to nurse a lot at mealtimes, i think.
  • you are getting up between 2 and 3 times during the night to nurse.  we always make it work, even if we both fall asleep during the process!  =)  daddy usually goes and gets you, or takes you back to your room when we're done.
  • you have got to be teething, but still no tooth, yet!
  • you love going outside!
  • you're trying really hard to sit up, but haven't gotten there yet.
  • you have decided that you do NOT like crowds, especially when everyone gets in your face to talk to you.  you end up screaming and wanting me.
  • you love the dogs!  i have to watch dakota because she will jump on us and without knowing it, scratch your neck.  you still love her and always reach to pet her.
  • you are known around town for always wearing a bow, and of course, i loooove that.  =)

you are a priceless treasure!
