black & white wednesday

i have mixed emotions about the farm year that's about to be here.  i always dread when march comes around and it's time to start planting crops.  usually because that means from march until after harvest at the end of the year, ben is super busy and i hardly ever see him.  well, i should take that back... i see him much more now that i'm home everyday, and that's been great.  i dread him being so busy, and having to get up early, and coming home late.  but on the other hand, in a small way, i'm kind of excited about this year, because it will be peanut's first farm year!  i know we will have fun with her riding in the tractor with daddy, and riding around the farm with him to check on the crops in the afternoons. it will be here before we know it!
to see more black & white's, you can visit the long road to china!

I am so thankful for Farmers! They do so much good for our world. My Daddy loves farms. As long as I can remember when we drive by a farm he would always roll down all the windows and soak in the farm air : )

Awesome. I love tractors, dilapidated buildings, farm life, and all things animals. Beautiful and timeless in B&W.

Wow! Beautiful photos of very spectacular machines! I've always kinda wanted to live on a farm. Seems like a good way to feel good about your hard work at the end of the day. I bet your husband sleeps well!

(Plus I've always loved fresh eggs.)
