blueberry cobbler

i don't know how i stumbled on this recipe... but it is the best cobbler recipe that i've found. and it's so easy. if someone is coming over last minute, it only takes a second to get this thing in the oven. it came from this book, which i assume was a wedding gift to us. i love it, it has some great recipes.
3 cups fresh blueberries (i use frozen that have been thawed a little bit)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 cup self-rising flour

preheat oven to 350. pour the blueberries into a 2-quart baking dish and sprinkle 1/2 cup of sugar over them. in another bowl, combine the melted butter, remaining 1 cup of sugar, and the flour. mix well to form a pastry. pour this over blueberries and bake for 45 minutes. yield: 8 servings.

i've also made this with a triple berry blend (blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries) and it's good too. we always serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
