pretty weather

things have been going pretty good so far this week, and last week. my colonoscopy (finally learned how to spell that!) went good last tuesday. they didn't find any abnormalitles, but my previous blood work showed that my liver enzymes were high, so after the test, they drew more blood to test again. good thing i was still really out of it from the pain medicine. ben said i just sat there and watched them take the blood, which i NEVER do. i always have to look the other way and grunt and moan from the pain! i always have a hard time with blood drawing. my veins are very hard to hit, and i have to insist that they get it from my hands, which apparently they don't like to do a lot. anyway, today, i had an ultrasound done to look at my liver and all of the other abdominal stuff around there. =) it was really cool looking at it on the screen and the girl had all the words labeled on there so i could tell what it was. i have no idea if it looked normal or not. she said the radiologist will take a look at the pictures today, and my gastrologist will look at them tomorrow. SO... more waiting time. i'm sure it will be fine, as i haven't had any pain or sickness in a while now.

things on the farm have been going good. we FINALLY finished corn harvest, and are now working on soybeans. it rained a lot here last week, and ben was ill that it cut into harvest time, but i really enjoyed him being able to be around the house more! the weather has been so nice outside. here are a few pictures of sydney and i enjoying the weather...
